EBONY ROSE SKI CLUB GENERAL MEETING - General Meetings have been suspended indefinitely, however, everyone is welcome to attend the board meetings held on the 1st Wednesday's of each month. Presently, they are being held at 6:30 pm at Capuia's Restaurant on NE Killingsworth close to PCC. All are welcome to attend.


Founded in 1984 by a group of African-Americans who were avid skiers and wanted to share their enthusiasm for the sport of skiing with other ethnic minorities, today, the club consists of members from diverse educational and professional backgrounds whose goals are to participate in healthy, positive activities that foster fitness and enriched fellowship. Ebony Rose is involved in a variety of activities including skiing, snowboarding, bowling, camping, club social nights/days, fundraising, movie night, travel and more. The club's activity schedule is constantly evolving according to the wishes of the membership. Activities are designed for everyone from singles to couples to entire families.

Fun Ski Day - Join Ebony Rose Ski Club for a trip to Mt. Hood Meadows. Participants will meet at a designated place and carpool to Mt. Hood for a day of skiing, snowboarding, inner tubing, or just a day of social interaction. RSVP ASAP and receive a discount on lift tickets.

Beginners to experts - everyone is welcome. Bring your family and enjoy the mountain.

If you have a taste for seafood, join Cascade Ski Club at their Seafood Festival on Saturday, Feb. 25th from 6-9 pm. All are welcome, friends and family (children too!). $25 per person, $10 per child under 12. It’s that time of the year AGAIN! Our annual trip to Mt. Bachelor. If you are interested in attending, please sign up and pay your initial deposit of $50 BY February 20, 2006 (balance due by March 6). The total price is $80 PER person, non-members price is $95) We will not hold spots without your nonrefundable deposit and there are only ten (10) available slots as we don’t anticipate renting an additional condo at this time. MT BACHELOR LIFT TICKETS & SKI PACKAGES
Lift tickets are $49 a day or ½ day (noon to 4) $43, however, with your NWSCC member card, you will a get 20% discount off lift ticket prices. Rental prices are as follows:

•Sport or Performance Ski Package: $30/all day; $26/1/2 day (skis, poles and boot)
•Sport or Performance Board Package: $38/all day; $34/1/2 day (snowboard and boots)

Level 1-2 Guaranteed Beginners is a fun half day program which will teach you everything you need to know to ride beginner lifts and cruise Green runs. Cost: $60 for lesson, Lower lift ticket and rental equipment. 10 AM and 1 PM.

NW SKI CLUB COUNCIL CLUB INFORMATION:
NWSCC will be at Mt. Bachelor the same weekend. Plan to join them at a hosted gathering on the mountain. More information to follow.
